Bali is a land that seems to have a magnet at its very heart. It is a feeling that is difficult to understand unless experienced but once visited you are surely compelled to come back and you may even want to stay forever, such is its pull. Maybe its Bali’s beauty, maybe the friendly people, or maybe even the influence from spirits that certainly abide in this place.

Bali goes under many names. Some call it the ‘island of the gods’, others Shangri-La. The ‘last paradise’, the ‘dawning of the world’ and the ‘centre of the universe’ are yet more names for this truly beautiful tropical island inhabited by a remarkably artistic people who have created a dynamic society with unique arts and ceremonies.

Bali is small, just 140 Km by 80 Km and lies between Java, the most highly populated and influential of all the islands, and Lombok, one of the quieter and moderately slower paced islands. Like many islands, Bali has developed a world of its own. It not only captures what is special about Indonesia but also has a uniqueness of its own.

Daily life on Bali is culturally linked to satisfying and appeasing the gods, spirits and demons in the midst of breathtaking panoramas of cultivated rice terraces, impressive volcanoes and pristine beaches. Bali’s main volcano, Gunung Agung, is still active and sometimes explosive and is considered sacred among local people as it is believed to be the centre of the universe.

Lying just 8o south of the Equator, Bali can boast a tropical climate with just two seasons a year and an average temperature of around 28o Celsius. It has a whole range of different environments and activities for the tourist, many of which are covered in these homepages.

Economically and culturally, Bali is one of the most important islands of Indonesia. Rice is grown on irrigated, terraced hillsides; other crops include sugar cane, coffee, copra, tobacco, fruits and vegetables. Cattle and hogs are also raised. The Balinese are skilled artisans, particularly in woodcarving and in fashioning objects of tortoiseshell and of gold, silver and other metals. The Balinese are noted for their traditional dance, the distinctive music of the gamelan and for their skills in weaving cloth of gold and silver threads, Songket, as well as for embroidering silk and cotton clothing.

Bali is one provinces of the Republic of Indonesia, divided administratively between eight districts that take their names and boundaries from the island’s old Hindu kingdoms.

Life is a choice, that is what I saw and heard about Bali.

It is about Cowboys in Paradise, maybe this will become an afterthought for Bali. I realize in our lives will always be black and white, good and bad is always consistent because we as humans should be able to choose the best in accordance with what we expected in Bali ” Santhi, Santhi, Santhi ” is the best of our own, is the best for others, it is best for nature, let’s see now from the original Balinese, living in the village with my beloved family with customs, I am almost always proud. As well as the harmony which is always a purpose in life
with my love of Bali, what I do is live with gratitude for all the gifts that have blessed us, in fact it is the prosperity of Bali for which we are grateful. Our people are always trying to make Bali balanced.

But many people are littering the Bali nature with their ideas that are inconsistent with the concept that is Bali.
About Cowboys in Paradise, this is one part of Bali too, if it does not exist why is it there? People who have a part in this project might have an interest in Bali, whether it is good or bad. If they want to introduce such Bali Cowboys in Paradise, for me it is out of a lack of understanding of Balinese culture but I’m also sure many more of our friends know Bali is deeper. There are those who feel the vibration of Bali’s soul and conscience which makes them more calm and balanced. They will feel that Bali is more sharply in his heart not in the mind. Bali is not a feeling for a moment.

” Inner peace of heaven is a peaceful soul, heaven of mind is a moment of satisfaction”

In the Panca Yadnya, including in this ceremony Pitra Yadnya, the ceremony is intended to lelulur spirit. Ngaben meaning of the ceremony was essentially a return to ancestral spirits (of those who have died) to the place of origin. A man has Pedanda said Davis, sayings, eyelash, and after Davis died, sayings, IDEP is returned to Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva.

Ngaben ceremonies are usually held by family relatives of those who died, as respect of a child against her parents. In this ceremony is usually to spend 15 million fund’s 20 million rupiah. The ceremony is usually done with the flamboyant, no sob mourning, in Bali because there is a confidence that we can not mourn those who have died because it could hamper travel to the spirit of the place.

Day of Ngaben determined to find a good day is usually determined by Pedanda. Several days before the ceremony was held Ngaben families assisted by the community will create a “Bade and cattle”, which is made from wood majestic, colorful paper and other materials. “Bade and cattle” This is a place where the corpse will be carried out Ngaben.

Morning when the ceremony was held, families and relatives and the community will gather to prepare the ceremony. Corpses will be cleaned, or what’s called “Nyiramin” by the community and family, “Nyiramin” is led by people who are considered the most elderly in the community. After the corpse will be traditional clothes Bali Balinese. as people who are still alive. Before the event peak implemented, the whole family will honor the past and provide a nice spirit of prayer diupacarai get a good place.Once everything is ready, the corpse will be placed in “Bade” diusung to troop to the grave where Ngaben ceremony, accompanied by a “gamelan”, “sacred ballad”, and followed the entire family and community, in front of the “Bade” there is a white cloth meaningful long as the spirit opening the road to the place of their origin. At each junction or the crossroad “Bade” will be played 3 times. Arriving at the grave, Ngaben ceremony was held with corpses lay in the “cattle”, which has been prepared begins with ceremonies and prayers of the mantras of Ida Pedanda, and “cattle” to be burned to Abu. Abu is then removed to the Sea or the river is considered holy.

After the ceremony, the family can quietly pray from the ancestral shrines and holy places respectively. This is the cause of family ties Bali Balinese very strong, because they always remember and respect lelulur and also their parents. There is a belief that the ancestral spirits that reincarnation will be back in the family circle again, so is usually a grandchild is a reincarnation of her parents.

If you are planning a trip to Bali or are already here,
please let me help you experience the Bali that I know and love.

There is so much to see and do here, I can assist you in planning the perfect tour for your interests and
needs. Country side is what the tour that I like it to show you, because we can see the real Bali and the daily life of the lovely people in Bali more villages, more smile, more fresh and more Happy and nature .

I want to share with you Tri Hita Karana Concept for Life in my lovely island, how beautiful is our life if we can still do respect to the others, I believe life will become happy and full of Love

In addition of this three concepts cosmogony, it is also own contextual with Hindu Religion Concept, which is called Tri Hita Karana (three of the harmony, balance to create the peaceful and happiness). Tri Hita Karana word is come from Sansekerta Language that has meaning to keep the harmony and balance between human to God, human-to-human and human to environment. These three concepts is most popular in Bali spread out as follows:

PARHYANGAN

Parhyangan is one of the three concept related to the god. On this stage, the human is demanded to keep the harmony and balance with god. This concept has huge meaning where the Balinese discipline and full confidence to do this. It is not only including to pray at the temple, however it is cover all the activities which has a good thing in the life like build the temple, cleaning the temple, keep the religion symbols well a lot of thing we can do on this concept.

PAWONGAN

Pawongan in this concept is required to keep the harmony and balance between human to human and this concept has emphasized how to keep good relation with others. The simple ways to execute the implementation of this concept are to conduct three good things like to think the good thing, to speak the good thing and to conduct the good thing. By conducting three good things that is called Tri Kaya Parisuda, it is ensure we can conduct this concept.

PELEMAHAN

Palemahan, this word is come from lemah that is meaning the land or environment. Generally the Pelemahan in Tri Hita Karana is all aspect related to the environment. Base on this concept the Balinese has treated the environment well and they believe that the good environment will give their life better. Once example the Balinese treat the environment that on the Tumpek Uduh based on the Balinese calendar, the Balinese give the offering to the tree with the purpose that the tree has given them prosperity and a lot of thing they can do to keep the harmony and balance with the environment.
